How we work
We start where the money already is.
Most agencies sell you a full funnel on day one — awareness at the top, and a promise it’ll trickle down eventually. We start at the bottom, with the people already searching for what you sell, and we don’t spend a pound higher up until that ground is taken. Same inside every channel: money pages before topic clusters, capture before creation.
First, a test. Open your ads reporting and split your conversions into two piles: people who searched for your company name, and people who didn’t. In most accounts we’re handed, the first pile is enormous. Those are customers who already knew you — from a referral, a van, a previous job, a Google review. Your agency didn’t find them. It stood in the doorway and invoiced you for the introduction.
The second pile is the real number. It’s the one we’re judged on.

How much does a paid ads agency cost?
Fixed fee from £995 a month per platform, plus a one-off fee for the tracking build. It is never a percentage of your ad spend, and Bons & Frazer Ltd is not VAT registered, so nothing is added on top. Month to month, with 30 days' written notice and the final month payable. Your ad budget is separate and paid to the platforms directly.
What do I get for the monthly fee?
One platform — Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads or ChatGPT Ads — covering the audit, the campaign build or rebuild, ad copy, ongoing optimisation and weekly reporting on cost per lead, plus direct access to a founder by WhatsApp, email or video call. Ad spend, video and photo production and third-party tool subscriptions are not included.
Who actually works on my account?
The two founders, Jake Bonham and Jamie Frazer. Jake handles client and commercial strategy; Jamie handles the tracking architecture and the campaign build. There is no account manager relaying messages and nothing is outsourced or offshored, so the person you speak to before you sign is the person in the account afterwards.
How long before paid ads start generating leads?
Clicks arrive within days, but a reliable cost per lead takes longer. Month one is the tracking build and the campaign build, because we do not run ads on broken measurement. By weeks four to eight real conversion data is coming through, and by month three bidding has enough signal to optimise properly. We tell you inside 60 days whether it is working.
What happens if the leads are poor quality?
Lead quality is treated as a campaign metric rather than your problem afterwards. That means tighter negative keywords, qualifying language in the ads and on the landing page, and feeding your CRM outcomes back to the platforms as offline conversions, so bidding optimises towards enquiries that became work rather than the cheapest possible form fills.
Do you work with businesses across the UK?
Yes. Most accounts run over WhatsApp, email and video calls wherever the client is, and we work with businesses across the UK and a handful overseas. The office is at 69–75 Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 1UA, so local clients often meet us in person, but nothing about the work depends on being nearby.
